The rooms

Shippingklubben is an ideal location for numerous kinds of events. Our rooms vary according to capacity and atmosphere and are suitable for most functions.

 

Small assembly room
This pleasant room, accommodating 30-50 people, is our most popular venue for breakfast meetings, lunch meetings and dinners.

 

   

 

Lounge
Enjoy an aperitif before dinner or end your meal with an excellent coffee and cognac.

 

 

 

Bar
Our delightful bar has a maritime atmosphere with pictures and stories relating to World War II. During office hours, the bar is often used for smaller meetings (4-10 people).

 

 

Reading room
A grand room with its own terrace, the Reading Room offers a view of the Town Hall square. Tables can be set up in different styles for various types of meetings. The room is also perfect for smaller dinner parties, receptions or luncheons.

 

    

 

Main assembly room
This beautifully decorated room, with direct access to our extensive terrace, can seat up to 200 people and is suitable for larger gatherings. It is high in demand for meetings, dinners and receptions.

 

  

The Terrace
We have one of the city’s finest terraces measuring 150 sqm with a view of the harbour and the Oslofjord. In the summer, it is the ideal place to have lunch, enjoy an aperitif, or take a drink after dinner.
